Minimal computer and database experience required by library operator(s). Thus fits well with small libraries like school library, church library, corporation library, non-profit organization library, business library, specialized library. More advanced features can be used when your software and library experience grows. The library solution includes four simple databases such as Library, Borrowers/Patrons, Loan Database and a Fine Database. The library database manages and catalogs all library collections in a simple way including books, CDs, video tapes, DVDs. Borrowers/patron database lets you manage library member`s information in a simple way; view, search circulation data; print summary reports etc. The loan database lets you easily process circulation transactions and the fine database helps you manage fine transactions.
The library tasks that are supported include quickly catalog your library items, record information about patrons of your library, catalog collections manually, automatically from the web, automatically from existing files. Simple templates let you set up the database quickly. Process check-in and check-out transactions manually or with a barcode scanner. Search items by any field. Print library reports, spine labels, member cards, barcode label. Check In/Out module is a stand-alone application that allows to process loan and return transactions without launching library software. Your library databases are protected from unwanted modifications and users. Network support is available, the system can be operated from different machines over a network.
Overall: This is a nice and handy application to manage a library that is not too large.
